WEDDING FAYRE'S

Our next wedding fayre is CARLTON REDCASTLE CO DONEGAL 28TH MARCH 2010 . We will have our stand in the main hall so do come along and meet the band . You can check your date and if you want you can complete your booking on the day . If we cant fill your event due to the band being booked for the date in question we will point you to a booking agent who will also have a list of professional bands for you to check out . Also we have 3 peofessional DJs who will travel with us up to a distance then we would recommend you book a DJ in your area . Remember we are a large 6 pc band playing totaly live with 2 singers / drummer /  bass player /  keyboard player and lead guitar player .  We have been asked can we cut back to 3 or 4 pc band to get the price down but sorry we play the full band  all the time and play gigs and weddings only that can play a band this size  .  Do check out the band and do ask us questions as to venues and corporate we play as this is a good starting point for you to feel your in good hands with a band that live up to their name . FEB 2010 UPDATE

The band are on the road tonight the 20th Feb to the CANAL COURT NEWRY to play this fine venue and get a chance to perform in front of 2000 + crowd . Last week the band played Cavan and seems to be making an impression in the area around CAVAN , ENNISKILLEN , NEWRY , OMAGH . The December  Xmas Parties 2010  looks like the band will play in the area with talks for a resident hotel gig down that way are in progress  . We will post December 2010 dates soon . With dance and dinner dance and festival gigs on the up the band will play their share of the wedding maket all over ireland this year . Keep an eye on the site to see the company we keep . Halloween - What A blast

The band moved to Omagh this year to one of the most talked about venues in the Northwest . Its a street turns into one hell of a venue at night time and they know how to party up there . The band took to the stage and BBBAAAANNNNGGGG it took of like a jumbo jet . The band pumped out song after song to a crowd that was up for a real shindig of a night and no better band to do this than THE LEE ROY BROWN BAND . This band is now hailed as the top corporate event band about . As you have seen by now we are at the top of the list for most CHARITY EVENTS . The reason its easy , we have a reduced price for fund raising dances that make it atractive to have a top band play for you and then it makes it easier to raise funds with support . HOOLEY ON THE HILL

Lucky we got to move the show into the main hall and we played as normal 8.30 to 10.30 and even the massive fire works display went off on time . Booked again for next year and look forward to it - The lads loved it and said it was one of the better gigs with a lively load on the dance floor . :-)

NEW VIDEOS LOADING

In the video section you can see what we get up to playing to large crowds at  large venues when we are not playing weddings . The first Video is BAR 10 MAIN STREET OMAGH . We played there Saturday past and as you will see its on a street that is turned into a venue at the weekends . There was well over 4000 people clocked through the gates that night  with 3 bars and all the people are on the street to dance the night away . We thought it was real unusual and had the feel of spain . We are back later in the year and will post the date soon . We did go down real well and look forward to returning . Site On The Up

Yesterday the 26th of June we had the highest amounts of visits to our site , 110 in total . Great to see people hitting on the site for news and info on the band  and do keep calling . Moving near festival time .

The band are now heading back into rehearsals to add a touch of poke to their set list for the gigs ahead - GREYSTEEL FESTIVAL - HOOLY ON THE HILL FESTIVAL - MALIN FESTIVAL - BAR 10 HOT SUMMER NIGHTS - CANAL COURT AUG PARTY - RIVER CLUB BIG BAND NIGHT - P O CLUB BIG BAND NITES - AND OUR MANY WEDDINGS AHEAD . The band have some great new songs lined up and will add them to the demos on the site as we get them in the set list .

LITE YEARS IN FRONT

The band have some great gigs lined up and the summer is here with the band playing their fare share of weddings all over the country .  The gang will take on some of the top gigs in the country with invites to play these venues through the rest of the year . Not all bands get the chance to play these one off gigs but topping the pole as the hottest band about LEE ROY BROWN are well up there being selected . We are looking forward to the weeks ahead now and do call see the band in action im sure you will love them .

WEEKEND PAST - ENJOYABLE

We had a great weekend and lots happened with Saturday being a great gig local to our home town and friends and family came along to see what we do when we are on the road gigging in other Towns / Cities . The band had a real lively night and it was one of the few gigs we do in the northwest now with the band playing the rest of the country . Its back on the road the next few weeks now with the band playing from Ballybofey to Newry to Belfast and Donegal  etc . But it reminds us that we have to work all over to get THE LEE ROY BROWN NAME out there . Our band is now well talked about all over and im sure we are living up to the name . DOUGIE BRESLIN

We have now had a good few weddings that Dougie famous for his one man show with his tribute to all the swing time greats played in the Villa Rose hotel as the guests arrived . Saturday past Dougie booked with THE LEE ROY BROWN BAND AND ALSO DJ TREVOR HYNDS had a ball at the Villa Rose Ballybofey . Dougie play 3.30pm to 5.30pm in the bar area then the Band  played 9.15 to 11.15pm in the main hall followed by DJ Trevor hynds 11.15 to 1.15pm with no gaps and what a day . This was a fantastic combination should any one want to spalsh out and do it different with a superb days entertainment with no limit on budget for a real treatment of music from start to end covering 6 hours of song . We have been on the road now since mid Jan playing weddings in the finest hotels in ireland and the weekend past was hetic with real demanding music lovers that put the band in a high and ended up a fantastic few events  . Its great to be up there with the best in the circuit and demand has started to hit THE LEE ROY BROWN BAND . As we say we are a band with a real passion for music and each and every one of the band take real pride in their instrument and gift of performing as a team on stage to give you the best you can get when it comes to entertainment from this hard working band . WEDDING FAYRES ON THE CARDS

We are in talks for the next Wedding Fayre 29th March to be held at the FIR TREES STRABANE for a live performance there . We hope to post information soon on this  . Sunday the 5th of April you can chat to the band as they take their stand at the Carlton Redcastle Hotel Wedding Fayre  . Bookings can be Contracted at this fine show and you can confirm your date there and then  for the band and disco if you are  ready to get your entertainment  booked . The rest of the summer we are flat out so no wedding fayre's planned until sept when the band will play Live at the Millennium Form Wedding event Derry . Again for the 3rd year running at the Icare Valentines Gala Ball held in the INISHOWEN GATEWAY BUNCRANA , The Lee Roy Brown Band have been out standing and for a live 6 pc. Band are the best you get in live entertainment . For me the most pleasant humble bunch of people you could put on a stage with outstanding ability and talent . I have been a fan of live entertainment for many years and can I say this band brings back happy memories as to how it should be done . Real tight band great vocals from 2 males and one female backed by a superb band that is with out doubt musically arranged by thee best there is in the business . Our guest book comments seems to be going down well with people heading there when they visit the site . 35 comments left last few weeks and 100s of visiters calling in . RADISSON WEDDING SHOW - SPOT ON

The band played a blinding set at the wedding show in the Radisson hotel today sunday 25th jan . We confirmed weddings from South and north donegal and as far away as Dublin and North west hotels in northern ireland . This was an unexpected turn up for the books as we say . We went along humble just to let people hear what we do . Fantastic rewards and yes we will do this again and again as its unreal how many people dont have a live large band booked for their weddings . Real sorry to the people we could not help with their dates already gone .....Again many thanks for your support and telling us what you liked etc about the band . Thanks to the management of the RADISSON for the invite to play at the hotel and im sure you will see the LEE ROY BROWN BAND turn up at other hotels and wedding fairs as a surprise for the guests ........xxxx

SPRING CLEAN EARLY 2009

Hi how are you . Well spring cleaning on the site has started with 24,000 hits and stuff left on the site we have started cleaning off old out of date info to make way for new stuff . Also some comments removed as we have decided not to go with certain comments that dont help enhance the site and sound a bit cheesy . We will let you decide if you like the band
( best way huh ) . We are looking forward to 2009 even with the downturn we still feel its going to be THE LEE ROY BROWN YEAR with a lot of fantastic gigs and festivals getting offerend . We are going for a more select approach and will try making the balance between weddings and dance/corporate a better balance as it makes a better band and helps our set list of songs for a better choice not being forced into a total head banger band . We do a wide range of songs spanning 4 decades and we will be searching for more in the months ahead .

Lough Erne Castle Hume Xmas Parties

This has to be the biggest lay out of a hotel with a 5 star rating and worth a visit . We arrived Friday 12th December to set up for the weekend xmas party nights where we have been booked for the xmas party nights in this real class setting .We got off to a great start on friday night  and sat the 13th was a  repeat performance with a real lively crowd up for it . The Gateway Buncrana have released more 10 seater tables for NEW YEARS EVE this year taking the numbers up to 550 so get it booked for the LEE ROY BROWN PARTY OF THE YEAR ...... This will be a good one to end 2008 .  Keep an eye on the site for more NEWS soon

First Weekend In December 2008

Friday 5th Dec Xmas Party Night at the Radisson Roe Park Limavady first of the festive parties and off to a great start . The management was real pleased with the band getting on stage at 9.45 to give 2 hrs 20 mins of lively super fun and dance for well over 2 hours . Looks like we will be back there Xmas 2009 for more of the same with great reaction from the people . Keep at eye on the NEWS PAGE and we will post as soon as we know . Sat the 5th THE CORNER BAR opening night of the new bar . Again being asked to do the opening night was a pleasure with another good party and plenty signs of xmas with a full house . Back there on the 20th to complete this years 5 booking in this venue . The 20th Dec. will be a real cracker as we heat up and go up a gear on the way into xmas .
